Our Story

Sunshine Life & Health is the dream of two female entrepreneurs, Odalys Arevalo and Mercy Cabrera, who had the vision that they could help their community to understand how health insurance works due to the new ACA law (Health Reform), also known as OBAMACARE. One of the most critical aspects of this new law is that it guarantees everyone the right to have health insurance without verifying pre-existing conditions.

It was a difficult start, full of political opinions, lack of information, and a lot of confusion in the community. The vision of these two dreamy women became an arduous task until they managed to show their courage and opened a path for many insurance agents to join their vision. This enthusiastic attitude prompted the entire community and insurance companies to name Odalys and Mercy The Godmothers of Health Insurance.
